Romanian Toy Project
Mayespark makes a difference in Romania
Mayespark School Council launched a project in March to collect unused toys and clothes from pupils in school. These donations were sent to a Romanian nursery school attended by 150 children as well as a Romanian children’s hospital. The School Councilors shared images of the school and hospital during class council meetings to inspire children to bring donations in to school. During the month of March, we were able to send three consignments of toys, books and clothes to Romania. Members of the School Council would like to thank pupils and parents for your generous contributions. Thank you also to ATLASSIB who sponsored all the transportation costs and delivered the packages safely to Romania.
